Before Treatment: Sun Protection is mandatory.  We cannot treat recently sun-exposed or tanned skin.  When your melanocytes (pigment producing cells) have been recently "turned on" by sun exposure, there is risk of a suboptimal result.  Your face will be cleansed beforehand and photos may be taken.  No numbing is necessary.

During Treatment: A carbon mask will be applied to your cleansed face and will be allowed to dry, typically for at least 10 minutes.  This mask will help to pull out impurities and oil from the skin.  After the mask is dry, safety goggles will cover your eyes.  The Firework Facial™  pulses are virtually painless but can be a bit startling at first due to the popping sound.  

Immediately After Treatment:  Your skin may be slighltly pink and instantly "glowing" post procedure.  There is no significant downtime.    

Days following treatment:  Your skin will be glowing.  Usually there is no flaking, but sometimes there can be minimal flaking afterwards if your skin is prone to being dry.  Your skin will glow and many say it "feels smoother" after treatment.
