Position Openings

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Clinical Job Responsibilities:
- Check in and room patients
- Enter medications and allergies and history
- Obtain first pass at Chief Complaint and History of Present Illness
- Scribe physician notes
- Suture removals, wound checks
- Inject and perform procedures allowed by your license or training by Physician
- Generate letters based on physician encounters
- Accurately bill for encounters and procedures in a timely manner
- Deliver more complex results to patients
- Take photos of procedure sites
- Setup for procedures
- Prior authorizations, referrals
- Fill out and maintain logs
- Train and assist new employees and current employees in your role
- Turn over and clean patient rooms and patient areas around office
-Learn and become proficient at processing Mohs tissue.

Clerical Job Responsibilites:
- Answer phone calls
- Maintain patient schedule
- Enter insurance information
- Accept patient payments according to payment protocols. Keep cash secure.
- Return patient calls
- Deliver benign/simple results to patients.
- Make sure list of patients who had procedures and their numbers sent to physician daily
- Scan documents and organize into EHR and on shared drive
- Fax documents
- Fill out and maintain logs
- Train and assist new employees and current employees in your role
- Keep breakroom clean
- Follow all HIPAA and other privacy laws

Other Job Responsibilites:
- Stay organized and make sure supplies needed for patient care are adequately stocked
- Administer medications as directed by physician
- Assist with surgery and preparing room for surgery and procedures like tissue mapping
- Other jobs as assigned by Bravia Physicians

 

Applicants should be tech savvy and comfortable working in an environment that utilizes the latest technology. Practice uses EMA electronic medical health records system.
