What To Expect - Click Here.

Before Treatment: Drink plenty of water, as it is easier to get a good blood draw when you are hydrated.  Notify the Bravia Dermatology staff if you are on blood thinners or have a history of blood clots of blood cancer (leukemia).  Bravia Blood Boost may be less effective in these patients.  Also notify Bravia Dermatology staff if you are currently pregnant, as Bravia Blood Boost injections have not been sufficiently studied during pregnancy, so we do not recommend it.

During Treatment: We have a variety of ways and techniques to keep you comfortable if injections are to be performed. Some patients are already numb.  Bravia Blood Boost are well tolerated by our patients.  Bravia Blood Boost being applied topically has no discomfort and enhances wound healing.

Immediately After Treatment: For injections: there may be some tenderness, bruising, or swelling at injection sites.  Post-treatment discomfort is usually minimal, and can be controlled with Tylenol (acetaminophen) or cold packs.
For topical use: the Bravia Blood Boost is usually left to absorb post-laser or microneedling for a defined period of time.  After laser, an occlusive ointment is usually used.

Days following treatment:  Post-laser or surgery, the skin usually heals faster from the growth factors applied locally with the Bravia Blood Boost.  With other injections, the discomfort should be completely gone and skin should feel back to normal.

Months following treatment:  Scalp injections for hair loss should start to show thicker, stronger, and more plentiful hair growth.  Other applications promote wound healing and collagen growth, so the skin should be well healed.
